Superblog Sunday (has nothing to do with football)

Monday, February 6, 2012
It's been two months since my last update and three weeks since I've left Seoul. I can't even say things have been hectic as I've been massively unemployed for a while now. I was even practically handed a job last week, but I didn't even show up to the interview because my aunt called the day before and asked me to move to San Francisco and in with her. I agreed without a second thought. My therapist calls me "impulsive".

I probably only know about five people in San Francisco and have only visited a small handful of times. My decision was still pretty easy because I don't have much to re-pack, free rent, public transportation, and now I got a brand new city to defile.

Before I head down there, I'm making plans to make a stop down in Los Angeles for a few days to visit some old friends. Following that, there's a chance I may finally be getting a tonsillectomy. They've been giving me hell for years. If I'm (hopefully) approved for it, I'll head down to start my new life after I'm all recovered.

To end this, here is some of my art and a few photos. More to come... whenever.*

Some process shots I took of the skateboard I painted for my friend, Spenser. It was Zelda/breakfast themed!

Jem and the Holograms
Did some Jem sketches during a weekly illustrators shindig a few weeks back. No care was put into coloring.

A painting I did for David for Christmas. The accessories were at his request, I swear!

During filming for Jeff's documentary about Nick and Dan.

And some test shots from a location scouting trip with Romin.

Now to sit back, watch the Puppy Bowl, and get my snack on because while I don't understand football, I sure understand fluffy animals.

* I obviously can't keep promises...
